And Again

Well not two hours after the last posting I got a call from the camp nurse. Justin was still complaining about his tummy. She thought that I should take him to the doctor. She didn't know for sure, but she though we should go to rule out appendix trouble. We tried to get an appointment, but had to go to the ER instead. We didn't have to wait long, even though they were extremely behind! That was a good thing. Poor Justin had to have blood drawn, which was a first for him. They put the IV in so that if he had to have fluids or meds then they would be able to do it without sticking him again. He was a trooper!
Turns out he has a bezoar which is like a hairball! It's a clump of undigested matter in the stomach. We have to call tomorrow to peds to follow up and for more GI tests. Keep him in your prayers. They said to give him Motrin for cramping and to come back if it gets worse. I'll keep ya posted.
