Mother's Day Ring

Jerome got me this ring for Mother's Day. I love it. It has all four birthstones, and each one has the name beside it. I love my hubby! Thank you babe, it's beautiful!

Last night we went to see Ron White at the Sullivan. He is a bit...crude, but very funny, LOL! We had a great time, and it was nice to get out together! Next month we are gonna go see Jeff Dunham!

Joycelynn, Elesha, Me, and Monika

Monika and Elesha at Qudoba before the show.

FRG Girls Night out!

Friday night was a respite care night (free childcare), so I had the ladies from our FRG over to cook out. We had steak, fish, turkey grilled veggies, and grilled corn! It was so good! Laura made this awesome pasta salad! Elesha made Beer Bread, and Carie made CHOCOLATE covered strawberries! It had rained all day, but stopped just in time for us to grill. We were suppose to do smore's, but someone forgot the wood for the fire, lol. That would be ME! So we just made them in the microwave....not as fun, but still yummy! We had a great time!

Heather was the only baby at the cookout, but it's OK because she is SO CUTE!

Duke's mom brought him by after she picked him up. He is another Cutie!

Jadyn and Peyton

Jadyn and Peyton are pretty much inseparable, hehe. Jadyn has withdrawals if she doesn't get to play with Peyton. I guess it is to be expected since Jared and Peyton's brother Luke are the same way! This is the two of them in Monika's stroller. And them showing off their dirty feet!

Saying Goodbye and Sunshine

I am so Thankful that Jerome was able to come home on Emergency Leave. I wish it could have been under different circumstances that we got to be together, but we had a good time. It was healing for us to be together for a while. We were able to just be together and relax for a while.

He had to leave for Afghanistan this morning. We got the kids up at 6am and headed out to the airport. It was sad and we all cried a bit. But I know we will see daddy again soon, if only on Skype, he he. We are not sure when he will get R&R now, but hopefully he will still get it! Please keep that in your prayers!

After we dropped him off we went to IHOP for breakfast. It was YUMMY! Then we went to LOWE'S to get paint. I am going to paint the front porch. As we came on post through the Muldoon gate I noticed that they were not letting people off post?? Then we get stopped by a line of cars and a MP on Grady Road?? I had to call the vet and tell them we were gonna be late for Precious' appointment. They were booked solid, but would try and fit me in.... I still don't know why they had stuff stopped on post today?

The boys went to Monica's and I took the dog to ER. We made it in time, because they took us right back. Apparently she got Kennel Cough at the groomers the other day. Dakota is fine though, that doesn't make sense. I guess because Precious is older (14). Almost $300 later we are back home with meds for her. She is fine, just a bit sleepy from drugs.

It was a magnificent day today! The CYS board said it was 79! I was trying to stay busy so that I wouldn't just sit around and mope about... I got a lot done outside today, but I am paying for it now!

I raked the back yard! Poop was EVERYWHERE! And, Dakota had all kinds of CRAP chewed up in the yard. I raked it all up and bagged it! There were 6 bags of poop and garbage!!!!!

Then I mowed the lawn! My neighbor had one from Self Help so I used hers. I think we have Elesha's in our garage, but I need to move the 4 wheelers to get it out.

Next, I took off the slide and moved the swing set to a new spot and tightened all the screws. I need to get new swings for it, but it should be safer now.

I put Lime out in the yard to neutralize it then watered it.

Then I sanded down the front porch and washed it off. Guess I have to paint it tomorrow!

After all that I had to take a shower! I was covered in white powder from the lime. He he, I looked like a ghost! Then I went to meet my friend Karen from church to get my dinner. She made Chicken and corn on the cob, and brought me the leftover Thai Food from the Spring Fling at the church! It was all YUMMY!

Everyone has been SO GREAT ! I haven't cooked at all! I love it, and everything is greatly appreciated! I have such great friends here on post and at church! I hope that I can repay them all in some way soon! Thanks so much guys, I love you!

Now I am paying for all I did today! I got sunburned in my tank top and shorts! And now my arms feel like they are about to fall off from all the raking and mowing. I took a Motrin 800, but it hasn't helped at all. Guess I'm gonna take an Ambien and try and get some sleep!

OH BTW, There aren't any pictures on this post because Jerome stole my camera! He needed one over there, and I haven't gotten the other one fixed yet. Guess I have to go get another one tomorrow after church.

I miss you already my love - from the second you stepped out of the car! I love you so much!! Be safe and come home to us soon! I love you!

Ursa Minor Spring Carnival

The spring carnival was this Friday night. Jerome and I went with the kids for a while. They had a great time. Tracy Crapo and all the ladies did an AWESOME JOB! It was a lot of fun! I was in charge of the silent auction! We had 79 donations for auction items! It was great! I can't wait to see how much money we made.

Jadyn was taking a break on the playground. See how sunny it was at 7:30pm!

Jared wanted to do the Rock Wall. See how high it was!

He did so great! He made it more than half way up!

Jadyn was trying to pull my shirt off! Jerome snapped the picture at just the right moment, lol!

Cupcake Walk

Did I win! Did I win!

Magic Man

The great thing about going to school on an Army post are the connections! They got the National Guard to come and help out. They brought the helicopter and bouncy house and rock wall! It was cool!

Alaska Zoo

We went to the zoo with Jared's class on Thursday. It was a fun trip together before Jerome had to leave again.
Seals

Polar Bears!

The cool thing about the zoo in Alaska is that all the animals are Alaskan and most of them can be hunted in the wild. Here is the moose.

Here is Jerome and Jared practicing their moose call, hehe.

Here they are calling up another animal!

This is Jerome admiring his game!

Wait! How did this get here? We don't have Turkeys in AK!

Jadyn hanging out with her "friend".

Wolf! They were HUGE!

Brown Bears

Dall Sheep

The boys calling the Dall Sheep. The were making baaa noises, lol. It was too cute!

Black Bear

Bald Eagle! You do NOT want to get too close to that gigantic bird!

This was our group of kiddos to keep up with at the zoo. I'm not sure why all the "gangsta" stuff.

Jadyn's moods

This was Jadyn pouting underneath the buffet table the other day.
Well, she did it till she noticed I was taking her picture.
Then, she started smiling at me.
