Justin left for camp today. He is going to Solid Rock Bible Camp in Soldotna, AK. This is his third year to go, but this year he gets to stay for a week instead of just the weekend. Alicia and Brian Mayer's girls are going too, so they drove him down this afternoon. This year is also different because he gets to sleep in a covered wagon. It's called the Wagon Train Camp. He gets to do horse training/riding everyday and they have chapel and lots of other fun stuff! I wish I could go with him! It sounds like lots of FUN! Me, Jadyn, and Jared went to the Market downtown this afternoon. They rode the ponies, and then we met Elesha, Leilani, and Jacob for shaved ice and a walk around the festival. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a good time. Jadyn Petting a sled dog puppy Me and Jadyn...Notice the Blue Mouth Jacob and Jared clowning around Jadyn showing off her blue mouth...or shall I say face, hehe. Jared and his blue face Different shots of the kids riding the ponies. Jadyn was hamming it up for the camera, Jared must have been concentrating, lol.
Psalm 100 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Hamish
Thanks to mom and the neighbor's kittens while we were home. My kids were completely set on getting a kitten. We found this sweet little boy in Palmer. He has 6 toes on his front feet. He is so cute, I couldn't resist! The foster family named him Hamish..but we might end up changing that. Dakota was a bit curious at first, but they are doing great together. Hamish is so calm, and loves to be held and petted...Perfect for my kids. They are so happy. They owe me BIG TIME!
In the car on the way home from Palmer...well it was nearly to Hatcher Pass.
What is that?
He found a nice little hiding spot on the way home, under Jadyn's carseat.
See his big paws!

My Flowers
When we first moved into this house Anong and I went up on Arctic Valley and dug up some flowers. The have been nice, but not very big...until now. When I left there was just bare dirt. When I got back, this is what I found!
These are my raspberry bushes, that the boys wanted. We transplanted them from the other house.
I think the green ones that have not bloomed yet are the same as these purple/blue ones.
Those are wild alaska roses on each side of the steps. The one on the right has been completely cut down twice by the snowblower! It grows back larger every year. Maybe I need to cut the other one down so it will grow back larger!
I think these are called Lupine.

Justin took these pictures from the window of the plane. We were almost to Anchorage, so there is probably Mt McKinley in there somewhere. But, I'm not sure. They are pretty mountains though.
Jadyn talking on the phone...pretending to anyway! She thought that was cool.
I should have gotten some pictures of the boys too, but they were behind us, and way too cool for that, hehe!
Jadyn keeping us entertained
Me and Jadyn rode home from the beach with KhunYa, and the boys rode with Poppy. We didn't need a radio in our car - Jadyn kept us entertained. This is her version of "I Will Rise".

Orange Beach 2009
Pictures from our trip to the beach! We had so much fun! It was such a good trip. We stayed at the same place as last year. Patrick brought his Jetski down and they all had a blast playing at the beach. It was good to spend the week with Julie too! I miss by sister. We needed that!
